American Drama Group and "Animal Farm"

Hope and dreaming of a wonderful future are and have never been enough. Man must fight for democratic rights and never take them for granted. This is part of what George Orwell wanted to convey when he wrote "Animal Farm".

The 10th graders of Casi attended another most convincing and entertaining performance at Kongresshaus. Here, George Orwell´s short novel "Animal Farm" was turned into a play and very soon, it became clear that the famous sentence "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." is more topical than ever at a time when democratic principles and values are under an enormous threat and totalitarian regimes seem to take over.
