English Drama Group 2017: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is the story of Dorothy (Rahel W.) who is taken from her farm in Kansas to the bizarre Land of Oz after a tornado. On her arrival she accidentally kills the Wicked Witch of the East and thus frees the inhabitants of Munchkin land. Before she can really understand what is happening to her in this strange land, she is sent to the Wizard of Oz (Luca S.), who is the only person to be able to take her home again and who is said to make all wishes come true. On her way there she meets Scarecrow (Henrietta S.) without a brain, Tin Man (Felix W.) without a heart and Lion (Louisa B./Valentina G.) without courage. All of them, however, turn out to be loyal companions. Before Dorothy can finally return home to Kansas, the four of them have to face a lot of difficult situations (Wicked Witch of the West, Marisa W.) but in the end they realize that they can achieve a lot more than they have ever thought.
